Breeding

Breeding is a core mechanic of the Baxie ecosystem, allowing players to expand their collection and create new Baxies through controlled reproduction. This system ensures rarity, balance, and long-term sustainability within the game economy.

🪙 Genesis Bloodline Advantage

The initial 4,444 Baxies on Ronin and 2,222 Baxies on Abstract are designated as Genesis Baxies.

  • Genesis Baxies form the foundation of all future bloodlines.

  • Whenever offspring are bred from their lineage, the Genesis holder receives 1% of the breeding fee from that bloodline.

  • This creates a perpetual royalty system, rewarding Genesis holders for the long-term growth of the ecosystem.

🔄 Breeding Rules

  • Each Baxie can breed up to a maximum of 5 times (5/5).

  • After breeding, a Baxie enters a 3-day cooldown before it can breed again.

  • Breeding produces an Egg, which takes 3 days to hatch into a new Baxie.

  • During the breeding cooldown, a Baxie cannot participate in battles (auto-battle teams must adjust).

🧬 Trait & Part Inheritance

When two Baxies are bred, the offspring’s traits and parts are determined by an inheritance system:

  1. Part Pooling

    • Each parent contributes its 6 body parts (12 total) into a genetic pool.

    • From this pool, the offspring inherits 6 parts.

  2. Probability of Inheritance

    • 70% chance to inherit a part from one of the parents.

    • 25% chance to inherit a variation (common form of the parent’s part).

    • 5% chance to mutate into a completely new part not present in either parent.

  3. Mystic Part Transfer

    • Every part has a 0.5% chance to mutate into a new Mystic Part, even if neither parent possesses one.

    • If a Mystic is not inherited, the slot may fallback to the parent’s non-mystic version or mutate into a standard part.

  4. Rarity Balancing

    • Offspring stats are calculated using the Rarity Table (40–99 base), adjusted by Mystic bonuses.

    • This ensures new Baxies remain balanced within the ecosystem.

  5. Gender Assignment

    • Offspring genders are determined randomly: 50% Male, 50% Female.

    • Gender distribution ensures balanced breeding cycles across the ecosystem.

💰 Breeding Cost

  • 2,000 $RONEN

  • 10,000 $GRONKE

These token requirements regulate supply and reinforce utility within both ecosystems.

⏳ Time Reduction with Ronen Points

Players can spend Ronen Points (RP) to shorten breeding and hatching times:

  • Breeding cooldown → reduced with RP.

  • Hatching time → reduced with RP.

This system rewards active players while keeping breeding fair and balanced.

⚖️ Breeding Economy Balance

  • Token sinks via breeding fees sustain $RONEN and $GRONKE value.

  • Genesis advantage creates long-term passive rewards for early adopters.

  • Cooldowns and battle restrictions prevent abuse and ensure fairness.

  • RP integration provides an incentive for active participation and engagement.
